Play Bionic Commando Online
Swing through enemy bases with that bionic arm, grabbing ceilings and flinging yourself past gun turrets—miss a grapple and you're toast. The Game Boy version keeps the tense platforming but remixes the levels just enough to keep you on your toes.

Game Overview
Bionic Commando on Game Boy is basically the portable version of the NES classic—same bionic arm swinging, same mission to rescue Super Joe, same weirdly satisfying grappling mechanics. Rad Spencer’s still got that ridiculous arm that latches onto ceilings and platforms, letting you fling yourself around like a commando-turned-trapeze artist.
No overhead stages here, but you’ve still got those tense generator boss fights, hidden weapon upgrades, and those little bullet pickups that slowly stretch your health bar (which, honestly, you’ll need). The grappling takes some getting used to—sometimes you’ll overshoot and faceplant into enemies—but once it clicks, swinging through levels feels weirdly smooth for a Game Boy game.
It’s not just a straight port, though. The levels are rearranged, some enemies behave differently, and the whole thing’s been squeezed into that tiny green screen. If you’ve played the NES version, it’s familiar but just different enough to keep you on your toes.
