Play Bionic Commando (Europe) Online

No jump button—just a janky bionic arm that sends you swinging across gaps, missing ledges, and occasionally faceplanting into enemies. Takes patience, but nailing those awkward grapples feels oddly rewarding.

Game Overview

Bionic Commando is one of those NES games that feels familiar at first—until you realize your guy can’t even jump. Instead, Rad Spencer swings around with this weird bionic arm, which takes some getting used to. At first, I kept mashing the jump button out of habit, but once you get the hang of grappling onto ceilings and flinging yourself across gaps, it clicks.

The levels are full of enemy soldiers, hidden power-ups, and some seriously awkward platforming (that arm doesn’t always latch where you want). And yeah, you’re rescuing Super Joe, but honestly, the real challenge is not flinging yourself into a pit by accident. It’s frustrating in that classic NES way, but weirdly satisfying when you nail a tricky swing.
