Game Overview

Black Hole is one of those classic arcade shooters where you’re basically a tiny spaceship at the bottom of the screen, blasting upwards at everything that moves. The setup? Aliens stole an entire city (rude), and now you’ve got to shoot your way through their ridiculous defenses to get it back.

First stage throws you into this mess of neutron mines—they block your shots, but you can chip away at them over time. Then there are these slow, drifting black holes that’ll wreck you if you touch them. The trick? Shoot one, and it briefly opens up, letting you slip through. Feels like threading a needle while someone’s shaking the table.

Second stage is where the real thief shows up, surrounded by these obnoxious reflective mines. Your own shots bounce right back at you if you’re not careful, and the alien’s always shuffling around, hiding behind the chaos. You’ve got to wait for just the right moment when the mines part, then nail the alien before it all closes up again. After that, the whole thing loops, but faster. Good luck.

It’s simple, brutal, and exactly the kind of game where you’ll lose track of time trying to beat your high score.
