Play Blackhawk (Europe) (En,Fr,De) Online
Duck behind cover, pop up to blast enemies with your shotgun, and roll away from grenades—this gritty SNES shooter nails that tense, methodical combat rhythm. The pixel gore and industrial soundtrack make every explosion feel heavy.

Blackhawk (or Blackthorne, depending on where you got it) is one of those gritty SNES action-platformers that feels like it crawled straight out of a '90s comic book. You play as this brooding, trenchcoat-wearing guy who shoots first and asks questions never—think Flashback but with way more shotgun blasts to the face.
The controls take a second to click—holding down to aim feels weird at first—but once you get the rhythm of ducking behind cover, popping up to fire, and rolling away from grenades, it’s stupidly satisfying. And yeah, it’s got those little exploration puzzles where you’re pushing blocks or flipping switches, but mostly you’re here to watch bad guys explode in pixelated gore. The moody industrial soundtrack just seals the deal.
Fair warning: some of those platforming sections will make you want to throw your controller. But nailing a perfect run through a room full of mutants? Worth it.
