Blood Stone 007 on the Nintendo DS came out in 2010, developed by Bizarre Creations. You control James Bond through a series of missions, moving between cover to engage in firefights and occasionally sneaking past guards. The main goal is to stop a bioweapon plot, which involves chasing leads across global locations. Signature mechanics include using the touchscreen for precise sniper aiming and for hacking minigames that break up the shooting. The pacing is fairly brisk, with short levels that emphasize action over deep stealth, though the difficulty can spike during some enemy encounters. It feels like a stripped down, on the move interpretation of being Bond, where you make do with the tools you have.
