Blue's Journey (or Raguy, depending on where you played it) is one of those weirdly charming arcade platformers that never got enough love. You play as this little blue dude who can stretch his arms to punch enemies or grab onto ledges—kinda like if Bionic Commando had a cute, cartoonish cousin.
The first thing you'll notice is how bright and bouncy everything feels, with these chunky, colorful sprites bouncing around. One minute you're hopping across floating islands, the next you're getting chased by giant rolling apples (seriously). The controls take a second to click—holding the button to extend your arm feels awkward at first, but once it does, swinging around levels becomes weirdly satisfying.
It's not super deep, but there's something about the mix of platforming and light puzzle-solving that makes it stick in your head. Just don't expect it to go easy on you—some of those later jumps require pixel-perfect timing. If you dig obscure retro games with personality, this one's worth a few credits.
