Blueprint came out in 1983 for the Atari 2600, developed by Western Technologies and published by CBS Electronics. It was one of those later-era cartridges that tried to do something a little different on the system, moving away from pure arcade action into more structured puzzle exploration.

You control a handyman navigating a multi-screen building, searching for the scattered pieces of a machine blueprint. Your main objective is to find all the parts before a timer runs out, while avoiding enemies like Ollie, who stomps around erratically, and Fuzzy Wuzzy, who drops flower pots from above. Signature mechanics include screen-by-screen exploration, unlocking doors (some of which conceal instant bombs), and carefully timing your movements to avoid hazards. The pacing is tense; the difficulty comes from memorizing safe paths under pressure. It feels like a tense game of hide and seek where the building itself is out to get you.
