Body Blows is one of those classic Amiga fighting games that feels a little rough around the edges now, but back in the day, it was a solid alternative to Street Fighter if you didn’t have a console. The characters move a bit stiffly, and the hit detection isn’t perfect, but there’s something charming about its pixelated fighters and over-the-top special moves. I remember spending hours trying to land the perfect combo with the samurai guy—his spinning sword attack was weirdly satisfying when it actually connected.
It’s not the deepest fighter out there, but if you’re into retro games, it’s a fun little time capsule. Just don’t expect modern polish.
