Download Body Blows_Disk1 ROM – Amiga Game
1993 Amiga fighting game. 4 playable characters. One-on-one battles across varied stages. Special moves with directional inputs. Chargeable super attacks.
So there was this Amiga fighting game that came out around the same time as Street Fighter 2, but with that classic Team 17 flavor. You’ve got four weirdly specific characters to pick from—like a Buddhist monk who throws energy balls and a washed-up boxer named Junior who probably should’ve picked a different career. The roster of enemies is even weirder: a ninja, some smug businessman who apologizes after beating you up, and this lanky Spanish girl who looks like she’d rather be anywhere else.
The stages are surprisingly lively for an Amiga game—construction sites with swinging cranes, beaches with waves rolling in. Controls are simple (one-button specials, hold for a super move), but timing those combos takes practice. It’s janky in that way only Amiga fighters are, but there’s charm in figuring out how to make Junior’s sad little punches actually connect.
