Brain Lord came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, developed by Produce and published by Enix. It was part of that wave of action RPGs that tried to mix Zelda's exploration with more traditional, menu-heavy role-playing elements, all squeezed onto a cartridge during the system's later years.

You control a young swordsman exploring a world of towers and dungeons, screen by screen, with the main goal of finding your missing father. The gameplay revolves around combat with your sword, solving environmental puzzles (often involving block pushing or finding hidden switches), and managing a team of fairy companions who assist in battle and can be equipped with different spells.
