Game Overview

Okay, so Breakers Revenge is one of those Neo Geo fighters that never got the hype it deserved. It’s got that classic 90s arcade feel—simple controls, flashy special moves, and characters that actually feel different instead of just being palette swaps. I picked Tia first because, well, she kicks people with roller skates, and that’s just objectively cool.

The roster’s small but balanced—no one feels useless, and matches get intense fast. There’s this one stage where you fight on a moving train, and if you time it right, you can knock your opponent off into the scenery. Little details like that make it stand out from the usual Street Fighter clones.

It’s not as brutal as Metal Slug or as technical as King of Fighters, but if you want a no-nonsense fighter with tight mechanics and zero fluff, this one’s a hidden gem. Just don’t blame me when you lose three rounds in a row to Bai-Hu’s cheap slide attack.
