Brothers in Arms: D-Day on PSP takes the gritty squad tactics of the original console games and squeezes them into handheld form—somehow without losing what made them work. You’re leading a squad through Normandy, barking orders at your guys to flank machine gun nests or lay down suppressing fire while you scramble between crumbling stone walls. The cover system feels surprisingly solid for a PSP shooter, though you’ll learn fast that sandbags won’t save you from a direct mortar hit.
It’s basically a "greatest hits" version of the first two Brothers in Arms games, with some PSP-exclusive tweaks. Bazooka teams are new, and watching them blow holes in buildings never gets old. The overhead tactical view lets you pause and reposition your squad mid-fight, which helps when the AI decides to be stubborn. Multiplayer’s there if you’ve got friends with PSPs and a Wi-Fi spot, but the real meat is the campaign—those D-Day landing missions still nail the chaos of storming a beach under fire.
Just don’t expect it to hold your hand; this is very much a "think or die" kind of shooter.
