Download Brutal Football_Disk1 ROM – Amiga Game
Arcade-style football game with exaggerated physicality, including hard tackles and chaotic collisions. Features local multiplayer, dynamic matches with random events, and simplified controls. Released in 1993 for Amiga.
Game Overview
Brutal Football on the Amiga is exactly what it sounds like—football, but with way more elbows. It’s like someone took regular soccer, cranked up the violence, and threw in some over-the-top animations for good measure. The players don’t just tackle; they clothesline, suplex, and generally beat the snot out of each other while chasing the ball.
At first, I thought it was just a gimmick, but the controls are surprisingly solid. You can pull off sliding kicks, brutal shoves, and even dive headfirst into opponents. The refs don’t seem to care, either—fouls barely exist here. It’s chaotic, ridiculous, and honestly kind of cathartic when you finally knock out the guy who’s been fouling you all game.
Matches get hilariously messy, especially with friends. The disk version means loading times, but once it’s up, you’re in for some gloriously dumb fun. Just don’t expect anything resembling actual sportsmanship.
