BS Do-Re-Mi de Fu 2! is one of those weirdly charming SNES rhythm games Japan just seemed to crank out in the '90s. You’re basically tapping buttons to match scrolling notes, but the music has this quirky, almost toy-like quality—like someone recorded a kindergarten band and turned it into a game. The timing’s tighter than you’d expect, though, and some of the later stages get surprisingly tricky.

What’s fun is how it throws curveballs—sudden tempo shifts, offbeat patterns—so you can’t just zone out. I kept messing up the 15th track because the rhythm does this weird stutter thing halfway through. Definitely not as polished as something like Parappa, but there’s a goofy sincerity to it.
