If you grew up watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and wished you could jump into the show, this GBA game is basically your golden ticket. You play as Buffy, obviously, punching and staking your way through Sunnydale’s usual parade of vampires and demons—except this time, there’s some creepy king named Darkhul causing trouble. The graphics are exactly what you’d expect from a 2000s handheld: a little pixelated, but the spooky graveyard and high school hallways totally nail the show’s vibe.

Combat’s straightforward—button-mashing works fine, but timing your kicks and special moves feels way more satisfying. And yeah, the dialogue’s cheesy in that perfect Buffy way (Xander cracks a joke mid-fight, because of course he does). It’s not the deepest game, but for fans, spotting Giles lurking in the background or hearing that familiar "chhh" sound when a vamp turns to dust? Worth digging out your old GBA for.
