Bugs Bunny: Crazy Castle 3 is one of those classic Game Boy Color platformers that’s way more chaotic than it looks. You play as Bugs, sneaking through a spooky castle while dodging possessed Looney Tunes characters—Daffy Duck’s out for blood, and Yosemite Sam’s even crankier than usual. Every level’s a maze of stairs, tunnels, and elevators, and you’ve gotta hunt down eight keys before moving on.
The real fun comes from the weird power-ups. One minute you’re dropping weights on Sylvester’s head, the next you’re blasting Wile E. Coyote with a cork gun. There’s even a juice weapon (don’t ask). Carrots give you extra lives, but half the time I just hoarded hammers to smash through walls instead. It’s goofy, tough in spots, and feels like a cartoon gone rogue.
Sixty levels might sound like overkill, but the layouts keep changing just enough to keep you from getting bored. Just watch out for Hazel—she’s the real villain here.
