You can't fight them directly; instead, you drop ingredients on them by walking over the connected ladders and platforms, temporarily squashing them. The levels are single screen mazes of ladders and platforms, and the pace is relentless. It feels like a tense, delicious puzzle where one wrong move means getting cornered by a very determined sausage.
