Play C-Dogs Online
Duck behind crates, spray bullets wildly, and argue with your co-op buddy about who took the last medkit—this is pure '90s top-down shooter chaos with janky charm and ridiculous modded levels.

C-Dogs, released in 1997 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection and developed by Ronny Wester, is a top-down shooter that feels right at home on a floppy disk. It arrived in an era when shareware titles often offered more raw fun than polish, and it fits that mold perfectly. You won't find elaborate cutscenes or a deep narrative here; the game is built for action, pure and simple.
You control a soldier or mercenary, moving through a series of maze-like levels filled with enemy soldiers, robots, and guard dogs. Your main objective is to clear each screen of all hostiles while navigating obstacles like crates, walls, and locked doors. Signature mechanics include picking up different weapons scattered throughout the stages, from pistols and machine guns to flamethrowers, and the ability to play cooperatively with a friend on the same keyboard. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly, especially when swarms of enemies pour into a room. It feels chaotic, unpredictable, and deeply satisfying when you finally clear a tough level through sheer persistence.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
