Game Overview

Capcom Sports Club is one of those arcade gems where you get three solid sports games in one—tennis, soccer, and basketball—all with that classic Capcom arcade feel. The best part? You can play solo or go head-to-head with a friend, which is where things really get chaotic.

Smash Stars (the tennis mode) throws you straight into a knockout tournament with 16 countries to pick from, each with their own stats—some are lightning-fast but weak on power, others are total serve monsters. Matches start at 4-4, so every point feels intense right away, and if it goes to a tiebreak, good luck keeping your cool.

Kick Stars (soccer) is pure arcade madness—five players per team, no offsides, just fast breaks and wild shots. Teams have different playstyles, so picking an all-out attacking squad might backfire if your defense crumbles. Two-minute matches mean you’re sprinting the whole time, and beating the tournament unlocks a brutal match against the overpowered "Star" team.

Dunk Stars (basketball) is the same frantic energy but with three-player teams—mixing centers, guards, and shooters changes how you play. Two minutes might not sound like much, but with constant fast breaks and last-second buzzer beaters, it’s exhausting in the best way.

It’s not deep simulation stuff, but if you want quick, competitive arcade sports with a friend, this one’s a blast.
