Cardcaptor Sakura: Itsumo Sakura-chan to Issho came out for the Game Boy Color in 2000, developed by MTO and published by Takara. You control Kero, sneaking through Sakura's house at different times of day to capture Clow Cards that appear in specific rooms. The main goal is to collect all the cards by being in the right place at the right time; miss a card at 3 AM, for example, and you have to wait another full in-game day. You explore the house screen by screen, play through short mini-games based on events from the series, and listen to Tomoyo's commentary on Sakura's outfits. The pacing is relaxed, though the time-based card appearances add a layer of planning. It feels like quietly sharing in the daily life of the characters.
