Game Overview
Carmageddon on Game Boy Color is basically what happens when you take a racing game and throw all the rules out the window. Instead of trying to finish first, you get points for plowing through pedestrians, turning other cars into scrap metal, and generally causing as much destruction as possible. It’s dumb, violent fun with that dark humor the series is known for—though the German version had to dial back some of the gore.
The controls are surprisingly decent for a GBC racer, and there’s something weirdly satisfying about watching tiny pixelated cars explode after a head-on collision. It’s not exactly deep, but if you ever wanted to wreck stuff without consequences (or a driver’s license suspension), this does the job. Just don’t play it in public unless you want some weird looks.
