Download Civilization_Disk2 ROM – Amiga Game
Turn-based strategy game for Amiga. Build a civilization from the Stone Age to modern era through city development, technology research, and diplomacy or warfare. Released in 1991.
Civilization on the Amiga was one of those games that could make hours disappear without you noticing. You start with a single settler, pick a spot that looks decent (hopefully near some rivers or resources), and before long, you're juggling city management, tech research, and the occasional war with Gandhi—who, by the way, turns into a nuclear maniac if you ignore him too long.
The disk-swapping was a pain—hence the "Disk2" in the title—but the gameplay was worth it. There's something satisfying about watching your little empire grow from a single hut to a sprawling civilization, even if the AI occasionally pulls some ridiculous moves. The Amiga version had that classic pixel aesthetic and a surprisingly addictive "one more turn" feel.
If you've got the patience for old-school strategy, this one still holds up.
