Civilization on the Amiga was one of those games that could make hours disappear without you noticing. You start with a single settler, pick a spot that looks decent (hopefully near some rivers or resources), and before long you're juggling city growth, tech research, and whether to befriend or crush your neighbors.

The disk version had that classic Amiga charm—pixelated leaders popping up to demand tribute or declare war, the satisfying "thunk" sound when you discovered a new technology. And of course, the eternal debate: do you go for military domination, or try to win by culture and diplomacy? Either way, Gandhi would probably nuke you eventually.

It's slower-paced than modern strategy games, but there's something weirdly addictive about watching your empire sprawl across that tiny map.
