Play Claymates Online
You're a blob of clay that morphs into animals—bulls smash walls, mice get squished, and fish flop awkwardly through water. Between levels, you herd these dumb little robots that turn like wind-up toys when they hit walls.

Claymates came out on the Super Nintendo in 1993 from Interplay, a time when platformers were everywhere but this one had a weird, squishy hook. It didn't try to be the next big thing; it just let you be a ball of clay that rolled and bounced through its levels.
You control a little clay ball that can transform into different animals, each with a specific ability. A bull charges to break through barriers, a mouse is small enough to crawl into tight spaces, and a dolphin swims quickly through water sections. The goal is to navigate each screen-based stage, collecting orbs to unlock the exit while avoiding enemies and environmental hazards. The challenge comes from figuring out which animal form to use and when, as the game requires a lot of trial and error with some unforgiving enemy placement. It feels like solving a tactile, slightly messy puzzle with your hands.
