Mama’s back, and this time she’s brought friends—along with way more chaos in the kitchen. The DS touchscreen makes chopping, flipping, and stirring feel weirdly satisfying, even when you accidentally burn half the dish. (Happens more than I’d like to admit.)
There’s a ton to do: 80 new recipes, from simple salads to dishes that’ll have you frantically swiping the screen before the timer runs out. The judges are brutal—Chika especially—but unlocking new ones feels like leveling up in a weird, food-themed RPG. And if you’ve got competitive friends, the multiplayer mode turns cooking into a frantic race against their terrible knife skills.
My favorite part? Customizing Mama’s kitchen like some kind of culinary interior designer. Pink apron? Check. Fancy ladle? Absolutely. It doesn’t affect gameplay, but somehow it makes failing at omelets slightly less embarrassing.
Just don’t blame me when you start absentmindedly tapping your fingers like you’re chopping onions in real life.
