So Croc is this little green guy with a big heart—and an even bigger problem. His Gobbo friends got snatched by the villainous Baron Dante, and now he’s gotta platform his way through four worlds to save them. It’s classic side-scrolling stuff: jump over pits, tail-whip enemies, and hunt down keys hidden in sneaky corners.
What I like is how the levels mix straightforward runs with little detours—you’ll spot a suspicious-looking wall and realize there’s a bonus area behind it with crystals (your health) or extra lives. The swimming and skiing bits break things up, though the controls can feel a bit stiff when you’re not on solid ground. And between worlds, there’s this sliding puzzle minigame that’s either a fun breather or mildly frustrating, depending on how much you like rearranging tiles.
It’s not the deepest platformer, but there’s charm in its simplicity. Just watch out for those bottomless pits—Croc’s pounce move doesn’t always save you.
