Crossbow on the Atari 2600 is one of those games that makes you feel like a stressed-out bodyguard with terrible aim. The first-person perspective makes it weirdly immersive for an Atari game. Watching your little buddies shamble from left to right while you miss shots and accidentally let them walk into lava is equal parts hilarious and panic-inducing. And yeah, the party grows as you progress, but let’s be real—you’ll probably lose them all by the ice caverns. The castle at the end? Good luck getting there.

It’s simple, chaotic, and weirdly addictive once you accept that failure is inevitable. Just don’t blame me when you yell at the screen for the tenth time.
