Play Cubulus Online
You float a cube through shifting mazes where down might be up, and the only way forward is sometimes to fall.

Cubulus was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a compilation of early titles that captured the experimental spirit of the platform. Developed by an independent creator, it fits right in with the era's fascination with abstract puzzle design and simple, yet demanding, gameplay. It doesn't rely on complex graphics or story; its challenge is purely spatial and mental.
You control a cube, navigating it through a series of interconnected, multi-level chambers. The main objective is to guide your cube from the starting point to the exit of each puzzle room. The signature mechanics involve screen-by-screen exploration and a disorienting, non-Euclidean space where gravity can shift; moving off one edge of a platform often sends you tumbling onto an adjacent wall or ceiling, completely reorienting your perspective. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty comes from learning to think in multiple dimensions at once, planning routes where the correct path might be upside down or behind you. It feels like untangling a knot from the inside, using only your sense of spatial memory.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
