Play CyClones Online
CyClones feels like Doom but with actual vertical aiming—you lob grenades in arcs, hunt for hidden switches, and occasionally eat dirt from a badly timed jump. That '90s jank somehow makes it more fun.

CyClones came out in 1994 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Raven Software. It was a product of its time, a first-person shooter built on a modified Doom engine, arriving when the genre was rapidly evolving and players were hungry for new takes on familiar mechanics.
You control a lone soldier navigating a series of industrial and alien environments, tasked with shutting down a rogue AI. The gameplay involves moving screen by screen, clearing rooms of robotic enemies using a variety of weapons, from a standard pistol to grenade launchers that require you to arc your shots to hit foes on different elevations. A key mechanic is hunting for colored keycards to progress, often hidden behind secret walls or triggered by shooting specific panels. The pacing is methodical, encouraging exploration over pure speed, and the difficulty can be unforgiving if you miss vital ammunition or health pickups. It feels like a deliberate, slightly clunky puzzle box where every firefight demands your full attention.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
