Play Darxide Online
You blast asteroids into smaller chunks while dodging alien ships—the debris piles up fast, and power-ups hide in the wreckage if you clear it all.

Game Overview
Darxide on the Sega 32X is one of those weird little gems that slipped under the radar—probably because it only came out in Europe right as the 32X was dying. It’s basically Asteroids on steroids, with chunky polygonal ships and rocks that actually shatter into smaller pieces when you shoot them. You’re this lone fighter trying to protect mining colonies, and the asteroids just keep coming, along with alien ships that get nastier the longer you survive.
The cool part? The debris field gets wild fast—you’ll blast a big rock into medium ones, then those into tiny chunks, and if you vaporize the last bits, sometimes they drop power-ups. The HUD’s split between tracking how many rocks are left (and how big) and how much time you’ve got before you’re forced to retreat. It’s chaotic, but in that satisfying arcade way where you’re constantly swearing at the screen while scrambling for shield pickups. Definitely one of the better-looking 32X games, too, if you can track down a copy.
