Play Deep Labyrinth Online
Explore a mysterious labyrinth, solve puzzles, and fight monsters by drawing symbols to rescue your dog in this first-person dungeon crawler.
Deep Labyrinth came out for the Nintendo DS in 2006, developed by Interactive Brains. It was one of those early DS titles that really tried to use the hardware in a unique way, fitting right into that experimental phase of the system's life. You don't hear about it too often, but it definitely had its own identity among the platform's library.
You control a young boy named Seth, who must venture into a mysterious labyrinth to rescue his dog. The game is a first person dungeon crawler, viewed screen by screen. You fight monsters by drawing specific symbols on the touch screen to cast spells, which can feel chaotic during enemy encounters. Your main goal is to explore the twisting passages, solve environmental puzzles, and collect the pieces of an artifact called the Triforce of Courage. The pacing is deliberate, and some puzzles can be quite obscure, leading to a fair bit of trial and error. It feels like a strange, solitary journey that relies entirely on your own persistence.
