Dementium II is one of those rare DS games that actually makes you forget you're holding a tiny handheld. You wake up in this creepy hospital—flickering lights, distant screams, the works—and within minutes something with too many teeth is chasing you down the hallway. The first-person view makes every shadow feel way too close, and the sound design (especially with headphones) is legit unsettling.
It's not just jump scares, though. You'll actually need to think your way through locked doors and weird medical puzzles while conserving ammo. The controls take some getting used to (it's the DS, after all), but once it clicks, you'll be frantically switching between your flashlight and revolver like a survival horror pro.
