Demolition Man on Genesis is basically you playing as that '90s action hero John Spartan—you know, the guy who gets cryo-frozen for being too violent? Yeah, that one. Now you're thawed out and chasing Simon Phoenix through a weirdly sanitized future where people don't even swear anymore.

It's a side-scrolling shooter with some driving sections that feel like they were ripped straight from the movie. You'll blast through neon-lit streets, jump between hovercars, and occasionally wonder why the controls feel just a little too stiff when you're trying to dodge bullets. The soundtrack's got that classic Genesis bass growl though, which almost makes up for it.

Honestly, it's not the best movie tie-in game out there, but if you're into cheesy '90s action or just want to see Stallone's pixelated face grimace at bad guys, it's got its moments.
