The first few levels trick you into thinking it's just a quirky gimmick, but then the enemies start firing back, bosses show up with wild attack patterns, and suddenly you're sweating over keeping both paddles alive.
What I love is how it forces you to split your focus—you'll be nailing perfect rebounds on the bottom paddle while desperately trying to track a rogue ball up top. The power-ups help (some turn your ball into a flamethrower, which rules), but the real satisfaction comes from pulling off those clutch double saves when everything’s about to fall apart. It’s one of those DS hidden gems that makes you wonder why more games didn’t experiment with dual-screen gameplay like this.
