Game Overview

Digimon Battle Spirit (Suxxors) is a fast-paced 2D brawler where you pick a Digimon and just go at it. The controls are simple, but timing your special moves feels surprisingly satisfying when you land them right.

I remember playing as Agumon and just spamming fireballs at first, but then realizing you actually have to dodge and counter if you want to win against tougher opponents. The stages are small, so matches don’t drag on too long, which is nice for quick sessions.

It’s not super deep, but if you just want to mash buttons and see Digimon fight, it does the job. The sprites are decent for a GBA game, though some of the animations feel a little stiff.

Digimon Battle Spirit (Suxxors) is fun in short bursts, especially if you’re into the franchise.
