You control a Digimon like Agumon or Gabumon, moving through side-scrolling stages to beat up opponents and collect orbs. The main goal is to knock your rival off the screen by depleting their health, using a mix of standard attacks and special moves unique to each character. You gather spirit orbs scattered around the stage to power up your Digimon and eventually unleash a super attack. The pacing is quick, matches don't drag, and the difficulty feels fair without being too easy. It's a game that keeps you tapping buttons and grinning at the chaos.
