Disney's Aladdin (Cezar) (EU) is one of those GBA platformers that feels like a love letter to the movie. You start running through Agrabah's streets, dodging guards and tossing apples, and it nails that light, bouncy feel of the animation. The controls are simple but tight—jumping on enemies has just the right weight to it.
Some levels go off-script, like the Genie's lamp world, which is this surreal, candy-colored mess of platforms. It's weird in a good way. The magic carpet sections break up the platforming, though they can be a little stiff. And yeah, you can slow your fall with a blanket, which is oddly satisfying every time.
It's not perfect—some hit detection feels off, and the difficulty spikes in later levels. But for a licensed game, Disney's Aladdin (Cezar) (EU) holds up better than most.
