Game Overview
Disney’s Aladdin on the GBA is one of those classic side-scrollers where you jump, slash, and dodge your way through Agrabah. The sprites are surprisingly detailed for a handheld—Aladdin’s got that signature blue vest, and Abu actually looks like a tiny, mischievous monkey. You’ll start off running through the marketplace, dodging guards and grabbing apples to throw (weirdly satisfying, honestly).
Some levels stick close to the movie, like escaping the Cave of Wonders before it collapses, while others feel like they took creative liberties (why is there a random lava section?). The platforming’s decent, though the hit detection can be a little wonky when you’re trying to sword-fight Jafar’s goons. Still, if you grew up with the film, it’s a fun little nostalgia trip—just don’t expect it to blow your mind.
