Disney's Aladdin (Eurasia) (J) on GBA is a solid little platformer that sticks close to the movie's vibe. You start off running through Agrabah's rooftops, dodging guards and tossing apples—it feels surprisingly fluid for a handheld port.
The levels mix familiar movie scenes with some weird additions, like a candy-colored Genie world that feels like a fever dream. The magic carpet sections are a nice break from platforming, though the controls can be a little slippery.
I remember getting stuck in the Cave of Wonders because the jumps were just tight enough to be frustrating. But pulling out the blanket to slow your fall is a neat trick that saves you more than you'd expect.
It's not the deepest game, but if you grew up with the movie, there's a charm to seeing it play out like this.
