Disney Sports Snowboarding came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2003, developed by Konami. It was part of a small wave of Disney-branded sports titles on the handheld, offering a simple, arcade-style alternative to more serious snowboarding games of the time.
You control Mickey, Donald, or Goofy as they race down slopes, pulling off tricks off ramps and grinding rails to boost your score. The main goal is to win each race or trick competition, earning medals to unlock new courses and characters. Key mechanics include building up a trick meter by linking moves together, which lets you unleash a super trick for big points; you also have to manage your balance during landings to avoid wiping out. The pacing is quick, with short runs that make it easy to pick up and play, though some later events get surprisingly tough. It feels loose and a little unpredictable, but landing a big combo with a cartoon character is genuinely fun.
