Game Overview
Disney Sports Snowboarding is one of those GBA games that shouldn’t work as well as it does—but somehow, throwing Mickey and friends down a mountain just clicks. You’ve got all the usual suspects here: Mickey shredding like a pro, Donald faceplanting into a snowbank, and Goofy… well, being Goofy. The tracks are bright and surprisingly varied, with shortcuts hidden in weird places (watch for the yeti popping out near the finish line).
It’s arcadey as hell—no fancy physics, just big jumps and even bigger tricks. The controls are simple enough that you’ll be pulling off backflips by mashing buttons, but nailing a perfect run takes some practice. And yeah, it’s goofy (pun intended) watching Minnie Mouse grind a rail, but that’s the whole charm. If you miss the days when snowboarding games didn’t take themselves too seriously, this one’s a solid time capsule.
