You control Donald through a series of side-scrolling levels, jumping on enemies, swinging a frying pan at bees and other obstacles, and collecting blue diamonds to progress. The main goal is to rescue Daisy from Merlock the magician, which means navigating themed worlds, avoiding environmental hazards, and dealing with Donald's occasionally slippery movement. It moves at a brisk pace, and some jumps require precise timing, but it never feels overly punishing. Playing it feels like guiding a chaotic cartoon character through his own slightly uncoordinated, but determined, rescue mission.
