DreamWeb Disk2 came out for the Amiga in 1994, published by Empire Interactive and Virgin Interactive in Europe. It was a point and click adventure that stood out at the time for its dark, cyberpunk tone and willingness to tackle adult themes, something not every game on the platform was doing. You played as Ryan, a bartender who discovers he's the chosen protector of the DreamWeb, a sort of psychic internet that holds reality together.

You guide Ryan through a grim, futuristic city from a top-down perspective, interacting with objects and characters to solve puzzles and gather information. Your main goal is to assassinate seven targets who threaten the stability of the DreamWeb, a mission that forces you into violent moral choices with permanent consequences. The game uses a limited inventory system, requiring careful thought about what to carry, and its pacing is deliberate, almost methodical, as you piece together clues from conversations and environmental details. Playing it feels like walking a tightrope between duty and damnation, never quite sure if you're saving the world or losing your soul in the process.
