Download DreamWeb_Disk2 ROM – Amiga Game
1994 Amiga adventure game. Play as Ryan, a bartender tasked with killing targets to protect the DreamWeb. Features top-down perspective, limited inventory, and violent moral choices. Includes mature content.
DreamWeb is one of those weird, unsettling Amiga games that sticks with you. You play as Ryan, a bartender in a grimy cyberpunk future who’s barely holding it together—constant nightmares, blackouts, and then suddenly, a monk shows up in his dreams telling him he’s got to murder seven people to save reality. Of course, he says yes, because at this point, why not?
The game plays like a classic point-and-click adventure, but with a twist: everything feels cramped, almost claustrophobic. The screen doesn’t scroll—just these little static scenes where you click around, picking up random junk (some useful, most not) while trying not to get sidetracked. And unlike most adventure games, violence isn’t just an option here—it’s often the only solution. You’ll kill people, sometimes innocent ones, and the game doesn’t sugarcoat it.
What really sells it is the atmosphere. The city feels oppressive, the dialogue is blunt, and there’s this creeping sense that Ryan might just be losing his mind. Oh, and the original release came with a 40-page diary written by Stephen Marley, detailing Ryan’s spiral into… whatever this is. It’s dark, it’s weird, and it’s definitely not for everyone, but if you like your dystopias with a side of existential dread, this one’s hard to forget.
