Play DreamWeb Online

You play Ryan, a bartender turned reluctant assassin, clicking through rain-drenched cyberpunk alleys where every item might be useless and every kill lingers. The pixel art makes the violence feel raw, and the diary entries? They’ll mess with your head.

Game Overview

DreamWeb came out in 1994 for MS-DOS, published by Empire Interactive Entertainment. It was one of those games that stood out in the era of point-and-click adventures, not because it was flashy, but because it was willing to be grim and strange. You don't see many games from that time that blend cyberpunk with such a personal, almost claustrophobic tone.

You control Ryan, a bartender drawn into a conspiracy that forces him to hunt and kill seven targets across a dystopian city. The gameplay involves screen-by-screen exploration, interacting with objects and people through a verb-based interface. You collect items, solve environmental puzzles, and engage in combat that feels abrupt and consequential. The pacing is deliberate, sometimes slow, and the difficulty comes from obscure clues and moral ambiguity. Playing it feels like stepping into a rain-slicked nightmare where every choice weighs on you.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
