DreamWeb is a gritty cyberpunk adventure game set in a dystopian future, blending psychological horror with noir storytelling. You play as Ryan, a bartender plagued by violent nightmares and cryptic visions, who is recruited by a mysterious monk to become the "Deliverer"—a killer tasked with protecting the DreamWeb, a fragile barrier shielding humanity from darkness. The game unfolds through a top-down perspective, with minimalistic interaction: players click on objects and characters to solve puzzles, gather clues, and navigate a morally ambiguous world where violence is often the only solution. Inventory management is key, as many items are useless, forcing players to think critically about their choices.

Notable for its mature themes, DreamWeb doesn’t shy away from graphic violence, sexual content, or the psychological toll of Ryan’s mission. The original release included Diary of a (Mad?) Man, a 40-page companion piece delving into Ryan’s descent into paranoia. Its stark, pixelated visuals and unflinching narrative made it a cult classic, standing out in the 1994 adventure game scene for its willingness to confront dark, uncomfortable themes head-on.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
