Play Duck Hunt (JUE) Online
Use the NES Zapper to shoot ducks on screen before they escape.
Duck Hunt came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1984, developed and published by Nintendo. It was one of the early light gun games for the console, a simple concept that made good use of the hardware at the time.
You control a targeting reticle with the NES Zapper, aiming at the screen to shoot ducks as they fly up from the grass. The main goal is to hit a set number of ducks each round before they escape or you run out of shots. Key mechanics include timing your shots between the ducks' erratic flight patterns, dealing with the occasional tricky double duck flights, and enduring the laughter of the dog when you miss. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty increases steadily as you progress through the rounds. It feels immediate and physical, a test of reflexes against increasingly unpredictable targets.
