Play Dunjax Online
You wake up in a pixel dungeon with a rusty sword, mapping grid corridors on paper while shadows move just outside your torchlight—step wrong and something ends you.

Dunjax was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, though it never had a numbered release in that series. I don't recall who made it, but it fit right in with the other dungeon crawlers from that era, the kind of game you'd load from a floppy disk and play in a dimly lit room. It didn't try to be flashy; it was just you and the maze.
You control a lone adventurer, armed with a basic sword, and your goal is to delve deep into a multi-level dungeon to retrieve a lost artifact. The game uses screen-by-screen exploration, so each new room is a surprise, and combat is simple but unforgiving: you swing your sword when enemies get close, and timing is everything. You collect keys to open doors and hunt for health potions because every hit counts. The pacing is slow and deliberate, with a high difficulty that punishes careless movement. It feels tense and isolating, like you're truly on your own down there.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
