Dynasty Warriors Advance (EU) is a hack-and-slash action game for the GBA that tries to capture the chaotic battles of the console versions. You control a single warrior mowing down waves of enemies, but the small screen makes everything feel cramped.
The first few minutes are just button-mashing through identical-looking soldiers, and the camera zooms in so close that you can barely see incoming attacks. It's satisfying when you pull off a big combo, but the framerate chugs whenever too many enemies appear.
Dynasty Warriors Advance (EU) has that classic Three Kingdoms vibe, though. Watching your character plow through dozens of troops with exaggerated swings never gets old, even if the GBA hardware limits the spectacle.
