Game Overview
Dynasty Warriors Advance somehow squeezes that classic "one versus a thousand" chaos onto the tiny GBA screen. You pick a warrior—Lu Bu if you like winning, someone else if you enjoy a challenge—and just go to town on entire armies. The graphics are pixelated as hell, but there's something weirdly satisfying about watching hundreds of little soldiers scatter when you unleash your musou attack.
Missions are shorter than the console versions, which actually works in its favor. You can clear a battlefield during a bus ride, racking up insane combo counts while barely paying attention. The controls are simple (mash A, sometimes press B), but nailing perfect dodges between officer attacks still feels great. It's dumb fun in the best way possible.
Honestly, I keep coming back just to see how many peons I can send flying with a single swing. The game knows exactly what it is.
