Earthworm Jim 2 on GBA is just as weird and chaotic as the first game, but with more weapons and even stranger levels. You start off controlling a worm in a ridiculous sci-fi suit, blasting enemies with a plasma gun while jumping over bottomless pits. The controls feel a little stiff at first, but you get used to it.
Some of the stages are downright bizarre, like the one where you're inside a giant chicken's digestive system. The humor is still there, with exaggerated animations and dumb one-liners that make you chuckle. The new weapons help mix things up, though I still mostly stuck with the default gun.
It's not perfect—some of the platforming can be frustrating, and the GBA screen makes it hard to see incoming threats sometimes. But if you liked the first game, Earthworm Jim 2 keeps that same offbeat energy.
