You pick from four classes at the start—warrior, wizard, rogue, or ranger—and honestly, I went with rogue because lockpicking sounded useful (it was, sometimes). Movement’s all point-and-click, and combat’s just clicking on monsters while picking between basic tactics like "Berserk" or "Defense." The real fun is the spell system: Elvira leaves you her spellbook, and you’ll spend half the game hunting down ingredients like bat wings or cursed herbs to brew one-time-use spells. Mess up the recipe, and you’ve wasted your only vial of demon blood. Good luck.

It’s janky, the NPCs barely talk, and you’ll probably get lost in the same hallway three times, but there’s something about the grimy, low-budget horror vibe that makes it weirdly compelling. Just don’t use up all your mandrake root before the final boss.
